On a recent lunchtime outing to my local town centre I found
myself in Superdrug – as happens more regularly than I’d care to admit.
Browsing the makeup aisle I saw the Revolution Redemption Eye Shadow Palettes
and was drawn to them primarily because of the chic, classic packaging. I
thought they looked professional and elegant and the colours showing through
the clear window were definitely tones I would wear, with options for a neutral
daytime look or a more vamped up evening appearance.
As you can see from the accompanying pictures, all the
swatches give varied but defined pigmentation. The lighter shades are hard to
make out in my pictures but they provided a good base and contrast to the
darker swatches and would most definitely add to the overall effect of
whichever makeup look you chose. The palettes also provide a good mixture of
both matte and shimmer shades which are definitely on my go to list on the
approach to Christmas. What better way to add sparkle
In fact, reading the reviews on the Superdrug website and from
personal experience, I could definitely draw a comparison between the
Revolution Redemption Palette Iconic 3 and the Naked 3 palette. But at only £4 a palette I would definitely
recommend trying the Revolution palette if the £37 Naked option is a little out
of your price range. There are many more palettes in the Revolution Redemption
range, all with extremely wearable and complimentary shades to choose from.
Whatever your skin tone, there will be a palette for you.
